Karen Langston embodies the spirit of altruism.  A primary tenet of her personal and professional philosophies is the continuous pursuit of personal development and growth of others.  She sincerely trusts here influence in other’s lives can spur incremental improvement.

Karen received her Early Childhood Education Certification from Centennial College in Toronto, Ontario in 1991.  This was the beginning of her educational pursuit in the interest of teaching.

Unfortunately, Karen was stricken with significant illness as a child.  She obediently followed the traditional medical prescriptions for a long period of time.  However, her health never improved to the point necessary to live a full life.  After years of frustration, Karen had the epiphany that traditional practices were not going to deliver satisfactory results and decided to take responsibility of her own well-being.  She received a degree in Applied Holistic Nutrition, graduating with Honors, from The Institute of Holistic Nutrition in Toronto, Ontario.  This marked the beginning of her ability to ensure her own health and to teach others to take responsibility of their lives.

Karen’s health improved far beyond the expectations of traditional medical practitioner’s expectations.  In fact, symptoms which were expected to be with her for a lifetime are non-existent.

To bolster her coaching capabilities, Karen pursued the status of Certified Nutritional Practitioner and graduated from Certified Nutritional Practitioners Council of Canada in Toronto, Ontario. This designation shows achievement as a highly trained practitioner achieving a Bachelor of Science in Holistic Nutrition approved by training which is deemed equivalent by the Board of Examiners of The International Organization of Nutritional Consultants (IONC).

Additionally, she became a Live Cell Mcroscopist certified by the ANMC INCin Toronto, Ontario and a Capillary Puncture Technician fromRobetech Institute.

Further significant skill-set development includes, Therapeutic Lifestyle Educator and Functional Medicine Consulting from First Line Therapy in Phoenix, Arizona and Somatic Intuitive Training Practitioner from the Institute for Sacred Integrative Somatherapies in Tampa, Florida.  The latter is training and technique development to alleviate stress and understand emotional & diet relationships as they pertain to health and well-being.

Karen received her registry with the National Association of Nutrition Professional (NANP) in Berkeley California. The NANP represents the holistically trained nutritional professionals, whose mission is to enhance the integrity of professionalism through self-governance, educational standards, professional liability, and rigorous code of ethics.

Karen’s personal development mirrors that which she hopes for others.  Her personal physical challenge is reflective of her enduring and endearing spirit which will not allow her to give up on herself or those she sets out to help.
